The European Beer Consumers’ Union (EBCU) is set to hold its 69th delegate meeting in Vienna, orchestrated by the Austrian member organization BierIG, from 7th to 9th March 2024. This event will convene representatives from the EBCU’s extensive network, encompassing 19 member organizations from 17 countries, to deliberate on crucial matters pertaining to beer advocacy and cultural preservation within Europe.

With its recent recognition as a Not-for-Profit International NGO under Belgian law, the EBCU is poised to reinforce its influence within the European beer community. The agenda is poised to address significant topics, including the introduction of a new Code of Conduct and the exploration of enhanced collaborative efforts with prominent partners such as BEUC – The European Consumer Organisation and The Brewers of Europe.
