EBCU 73rd Delegates Meeting – Rome, 10–11th April 2026

"EBCU will hold its 73rd Delegates Meeting in Rome on 10–11 April 2026, hosted by Unionbirrai, with a strategic workshop, the launch of a new consumer campaign, and discussions on European beer policy."

The European Beer Consumers Union (EBCU) will hold its 73rd Delegates Meeting in Rome, Italy, on 10–11 April 2026.

The meeting sessions will take place at Open Area, a dedicated events space on Via Anastasio II in the Prati district, within easy reach of the city centre. Alongside substantive discussions on European beer consumer issues, delegates will have the opportunity to experience Rome’s thriving craft beer scene across the weekend.

Highlights on the agenda include:

  • A strategy workshop on EBCU’s direction and priorities
  • Discussions on the EU Consumer Agenda 2030 and what it means for beer consumers
  • A first look at “Know Your Beer”, a new EBCU campaign — more details to follow soon

We are grateful to our Italian member organisation Unionbirrai for hosting the meeting and for their warm welcome to Rome. Italy has a rich and growing craft beer culture, and Rome is an ideal setting for this milestone gathering.

This promises to be a stimulating and enjoyable weekend combining important organisational work with great beer experiences in one of Europe’s most historic cities. We look forward to welcoming our delegates to Rome in April!
