Heineken NV has announced that it has acquired the remaining 50% of Lagunitas Brewing Company, making the American craft brewery a wholly-owned subsidiary.

Lagunitas was founded in 1993 and operates breweries in Petaluma CA and Chicago IL. Heineken purchased 50% of the company in 2015.

In a statement today, Heineken said that Lagunitas would continue to operate independently within Heineken’s Americas Region, with the current management team remaining in place.
