EBCU ist eine unpolitische, nicht-religi\u00f6se Organisation, die im Mai 1990 in Br\u00fcgge, Belgien, von drei nationalen Bierverbraucherorganisationen gegr\u00fcndet wurde: CAMRA (Vereinigtes K\u00f6nigreich), Objectieve Bierproevers (Belgien, jetzt Zythos) und PINT (Niederlande), um dem Bierverbraucher auf europ\u00e4ischer Ebene eine Stimme zu geben, sowohl innerhalb als auch au\u00dferhalb der Europ\u00e4ischen Union (EU).<\/strong><\/p>\n

DIE SCH\u00d6PFUNG<\/h2>\n

Im Jahr 2008 unterzeichneten die Mitgliedsorganisationen eine Satzung, in der die formalen Ziele und die Struktur sowie die Rolle des traditionellen Biers als wesentlicher Bestandteil der europ\u00e4ischen Kultur, Geschichte und des t\u00e4glichen Lebens festgelegt wurden.
Im Jahr 2018 l\u00f6ste Bo Jensen Henri Reuchlin als Vorsitzender des EBCU ab.<\/p>\n
